Singapore Restaurant Reviews

Hello Unregistered,

158 Upper East Coast Road, Tel: 6876-0570 Open: Noon to 2.30pm, 6.30 to 10.30pm

If you are lucky, you will be served by chef-owner Dershini Winodan when you dine at Chat Masala.

She will be able to tell you what new and wonderful dishes she has dreamt up.

But if she is not at the restaurant, since she runs another outlet in Greenwood Avenue, just order the paprika prawn.

The dish has been on the menu since the restaurant in Upper East Coast Road opened four years ago.

Besides paprika, the melange of spices in the dish include cardamoms used in a small enough amount to just leave a little note on your tastebuds.

For $15.80, you get a plate of plump, crunchy prawns enough for three to four persons.

The dish, which does not have any gravy, goes particularly well with rice.
