well, i have since deleted all photo's containing her cos i was gutted at what she did to me. anyway, if you reconise this place in the backpacker area,

take a right here and half way down there, just past the laundry place on the left is the 'tree bar' cafe. think the road is called Do Quang Dau. if you keep heading down Do Quang Dau, you'll reach Pham Ngu Lao main road

if you see a fit girl with a top set of top bollocks, thats Tuyen

Did 5 years - off and on - inspecting a Eucaliptus plantation between Rach Gia and Ha Tien on the West coast - just south of the Cambodian border.
Loved every day of it !!!

    Wow, Wujo.

I used to sit at a place about 10 seconds from that picture (that's not in the picture.) A local friend of mine has a small shop. I used to sit there with him and drink beer, and chat away.

BTW, what did Tuyen do to you?

Yeah, I ask myself that question, too.

I see the linemen going up these poles occasionally. And they find the line they want to work on or fix. I don't know how they do it.

well, my fault i guess. living in dreamland. but now i know i shouldn't of trusted a sweet honest face, and she is vietnamese after all.

i was staying there in saigon for a month and a half. a lazy backpacker, who just lost his job and thought of spending 3 months in a country he didn't like to give it another shot.

took 2 days to bed her, which i find a record cos normally takes months so i hear. and told me she loved me [which i didn't] in the hotel across the street. normally i would be a player when i'm away on holiday, and if i left the area i would no doubt get the attention of another girl and have my wicked way. this time however, i didnt play around and didnt take the advances of a Bahnar girl from Kon tum.

when i left Saigon, Tuyen came with me to see Cambodia and eat vietnese food in the market, but she didn't like her own kind and wanted to go back home. i stayed in touch, still went to sharky's bar etc in PP but didnt pick up a girl. lost touch through SMS while i was there, cos my messages were banned or something. i rang her up while i was in thailand and she asked me if i was a god boy. i told the truth and she didnt belive me.

i didnt pick up any girls, even when i went to the philippines, but when she didnt reply to my sms or my call, i had another vietnamese friend, who gave tuyen a bell with the number i gave. she had only married a 60+ war vet.

i guess its the money thing cos any normal person would know he aint got long to live and she and her family can enjoy riches. i guess i was thankful to get out while i can cos she never even bothered to wear any of the low slung dresses or jeans i got her. only the cheap crap which she got.

i know, i got scammed. i should of just bagged her and left her and carried on shagging when i left saigon

anyway, crap shag. awful melon shaped tit's and tight as hell

Great thread, really well done. One of the best I have seen in a while.

Fuck the bitch young man, she was into it for the money. You still had a hell of a time and you got her in record time. You ready to go fishing again. Life will hand you something nice.

Some people like it and some people say fok it. I'm in the second group as Ive done 3 trips there and given it a good crack traveling the whole country.

Lots to see, easy travel, good accommodation, great food, cheap piss and some stunning looking crumpet.

The thing that brings it down is the rampant endemic need for the locals to try there hardest at every turn to rip off the travelers. I mean not every bastard is on the game but 99.9% thinks it fair crack.

Gets very tiring very quickly and thats why I wont be heading back anytime within the next millennium.

    Have a nice trip Willy.
After you've been there for a time this does not happen so much. Maybe because you look more relaxed and less like a tourist? Don't know.

What I do know is that for the first few months I was very aggressive to all who tried to scam a few dollars / nick my pens, pencils / put me in a corner with engineering decisions / whatever. Now I have been here a couple of years it does not seem to happen and I really do like the place.

I'd say that tourists may find it not to their liking, but for work or business it's better than Thailand, as you are allowed more freedom to operate, and given more credit for your knowledge.

None of this "We do it this way in Thailand" crap - just "How would you do this?""Oh, yes, that is good"

And without a platform, they are usually standing on all the other lines as a support.

I'll have to look out my photos.

Then when I was working there last year I had to lock my office whenever I went to the toilet, or I'd find my pencils, pens, CD_ROMs and other things gone.

I'd be very careful in the shit house matey as they will pinch the eye out of ones cock if they get half a chance.

Actually I was thinking of going back again as its been 3 years since last trip but after re reading this thread they can go get foked and ram there stealing rip off way's right up there arse.

I'm going back to Nepal instead.

    Thanks for the reply, Wujou.

Yes, the ladies of VN can be very sneaky. Especially any that you meet in the backpacker area.

Many stories, as you know. Great thread. Great, photos. Great stories.

    Cheers.

well your wish has come true. i thought i deleted these pics cos i found out she married some old war vet on my return to Blighty. anyhow i can now think back and say i enjoyed it. here's more of her, including the tree growing out of the bar so you would remember which bar it is if you are in the area and take a gander at her knockers

made me laugh when i 1st went to Vietnam. the girls wearing Little bo peep hats. Unique to Vietnam. you can even see them dress like this on tours around Cambridge Uni, UK

    anyhow, have fun!

    Thanks for the photos, WujouMao.

Did you teach in Korea? Just curious.

You say you travelled SE Asia for 2 years.

If I may ask, how much did that cost. I have an estimate.

I'll likely do a trip similar in the future.

no mate, never taught in Korea, or anywhere else that matter. i dont have any degree or qualifications. i asked around though and korea only wanted american accent. no way, i aint dropping my accent just to teach english.

how much did it cost? well it all depends on what you are doing. whether you want to either make your money last and try and live in the cheapest yet cleanest flypits or splash out. whether you want to go whoring or just mix with the locals. what ever the case it cos a bomb.

sometimes i think back and say just what the hell did i spend it on. sure maybe lots of overcharging or the odd money goes walkabout. or lose change falls out of a sweaty pocket when you're paralytic. maybe in the region of £20-40k a year.

the H'mong came from China years ago. they dont even look like Vietnamese and surely wont overcharge you just like their commie owners. And the Bahnar tribes looks more like Filipino with their brown skin, smiley faces. i dont know where the Bahanr came from. maybe they came from Laos, seeing as thats where most of them are.

many other parts of vietnam i would like to see, but they are off limits unless you pay big money on worthless paper to corrupt cops

    All made of Snake!

Has anyone been to Le Mat (the snake village)? Is it cool? What's the best way to get there for a motorbikeless person? Would I need to hire a guide if my Vietnamese is dodgy, or is it the kind of place I can just show up at?

just flag down a xeom and say 'Le Mat'. he'll understand and if he cant speak English, he'll ask one of his friends to take you.

when you do the video, make sure you dont turn off the video just as he's about to prod it with the knife cos thats what i did. would of been better to have the heart still pumping on screen, but hey, no worries
