Loads of cops on horseback again
They went to a nice Thai restaurant in The Trafford Centre for dinner that night. I stayed in because I had a nasty cold.
Cor bet Mum + Dad were a bit awestruck in that atmosphere + the noise !
I have been in there ,, but not on match day ,, to be very honest football is not our thing but I bet they loved it .
Thats opened my eyes up £43 a ticket ! for about 2 hours entertainment . I know its each to their own and if your into that kinda thing thats what you have to pay .
Just as an aside to give you an idea what I,m on about we go on 2 day motorbike racing days for £16 each , thats about 32 races and around 16 hours excitement .
I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs
Hey Nigel. Thanks for your comments again. It was Dad & Uncle who went to the match. Mom, Hubby and I went to watch it on the big screen at the pub in The Trafford Centre.
I love the idea of watching motorbike racing. I watch it sometimes on TV but I prefer F1 and stock car races.
I had posted another day up with about 40 shots but I kept getting a nasty message saying that my post is too long. Let's see what happens now.
I'll try to add more pics now.
I'll post these in sections since I have about 85 of them. On Easter Sunday morning, we went up to The Lakes District from Manchester. We stopped for a bit in Windermere, then continued up to Keswick. We stayed at Fornside Farm, which is, funnily enough, in Fornside.
Here's a map
I can't c&p images with Firefox (???????) so here's a link to the map

Lazy cows
We stopped for brekkie on our way. I can only eat this kind of breakfast once or twice a year. I had my fix twice now.

Your FIL has that same lovely unassuming look on his face to my FIL ,, and if he is half as funny as mine he will keep you all well entertained . I just wish I was clever enough to be able to remember more Thai ,, I do try my best , numbers / colours/ days of week ok ,,,,,but who wants to talk about that
A full English ! well I have to say you can eat 1 a year more than me .
Having said that my Jan would quite hapilly eat one every day ,
Love the pic of the cottage with the yellow + mauve ,, as they sit opposite on the colour wheel they allways look good together.
Did you buy some Kendal mintcake up there ?
Just noticed the pic dates a day after my birthday ,, we was lying on the beach in the Dom rep then .
Cheers for now
I'd love to go to the Thundersport meet! Thanks.
FIL is pretty funny even though he looks like it will kill him to smile in pics.
The English breakfasts are nice but I think it's more of a winter hibernation type of food.
The yellow and mauve flowers were at the small local post office. It was amazing.
I kept debating on picking up some Kendal mint cakes, but I decided against it. I should ask hubby to pick them up for me at the Duty Free when he comes here in a couple of weeks.
Fabulous thread for us homesick Brits. Thanks for sharing

Nice pics Nat
Aren't Kendal mint cakes just a survival thing? ie just to get a shit load of calories in you and light to carry, for cakes you need to visit Mr Kipling.
Hi guys adn thanks for the comments. Sorry, I've been neglecting my posting responsibilities, but I've had a very messed up couple of weeks, I hope to post more tonight.
Exceedingly Good
Sorry Natalie, DD's fault
All photos are beautiful. You're a great photographer. Flowers I love the last photo. I see the Bulgarian flag at the stadium suspended. It's nice that glorify such a small country
