That's it for now. I need to upload the rest on to my Photobucket. Hopefully later tonight I'll post them.

You're doing a great job here Natalie.
Must have been a real shock to your system hitting London in the temperatures we have been getting of late.
Well done Lass. A real 'Trooper'
As you rightly mention the buildings are outstanding.
We have visited numerous times over the years,
we always find the Capital to be fascinating,
interesting and steeped in amazing history.
I'm giving you a 'Green' for this,
it really is a very interesting view from
somebody visiting from such a totally different country and climate.
Well done.
Keep the photographs coming.
* This peculiar system of allowing or disallowing the donations of 'Greens' has
clamped down on me.
I'll sort it out in due course, but take this as a 'Special Green'
All the women take their blouses off
And the men all dance on the polka dots
It's closing time !
Thanks, Mathos and thanks for the green. Yes, after living in Dubai for almost three years, the climate shock was one thing but the culture shock was very nice. I loved the fact that you can have alcohol with a meal everywhere! The things you take for granted. I have a couple of pics of nice meals and drinks coming up.
yes i liked the enthusiasm too
can you post direct from the photo bucket site to here ?
blue, do you mean via a link? You can, but all of my albums default to private and I'm not really sure how to change it. I'll check on that.
Good so far.
Doesn't look very Christmasy.
Nat, I was also in London 22nd-28th Dec. I also visited all your photographed locations.
Good thing you weren't murdered, I'd be a number one supect.
Ya, good thing. :-D
I love this name
Look at the price of a Thai massage
Belgravia, the most expensive real estate in London. Margaret Thathcer lives here and some celebrities have homes here. The founder of this area made sure that he had good conditions for his workers, so he built pubs in the neighbourhood. they are all in the back alleys, not to be seen and according to our tour guide, they are rell good. Oh well, that will have to wait till my next visit.

Quite a few embassies are here.
On my way to St. Paul's Cathedral, I came across some more really nice buildings and churches.
A church with an interesting story
Well done Nat8. London is not remotely 'my' England, but it truly is an amazing place.
Unique & unparalleled. It is thru' the eyes of a first time visitor we are best reminded of this.
St. Paul's Cathedral
Opposite St. Paul's
I can't remember what this building is
Thanks, sabang. It's so true.
Oops, I forgot to post the two of The London Aquarium
Yeah and thats without the " extras "Originally Posted by natalie8

Mr. Lick, I only have a few more, but they include shots of me inside, enjoying the food and drink. :-D
The Houses of Parliament are really stunning in their design
Teachers protesting against cuts to sports programs
More nice shops and pubs
I like this entrance
You see a lot of these cute little cars in London
Our tour guide
Nice smile and great teeth. You certainly won't be mistaken for a local.
The Hard Rock Cafe and their huge Christmas tree
I wonder who got this nice gift
or any of these
Hairdresser to the stars, including Princess Diana (when she was alive, of course)
Paul's daughter's place
Again more nice shops and pubs
The East India Company
Thai Square, opposite the Canadian High Comission
Trafalgar Square at night
555, no I certainly won't! I'm really obsessive about my teeth and I have a perfect record, no fillings, no work, nothing.Originally Posted by Norton
Great travel photo thread, Thanks N8, especially sitting out here with all doors and windows open enjoying the "chilly" season
And my guess (since you asked) as to who could be getting the fancy cars in Christmas present would be girlfriends/wifes of the neuvo rich Russian Oligarchs boosting the Brit economy with the gains from the worlds biggest ever robbery of a whole nation. Just been reading a book on the subject and it's impact on the Brit economy and the luxury shopping scene (Londongrad)
I can't enter the Hard Rock cafe in case I get mobbed.
