    A year in Crewe...

Returned to Crewe at the end of August last year with my son.

Wife, daughter and camera followed sometime in November.

I finally bothered taking some pictures when it snowed in January.

That blue thing is my car. My house (rented) is behind it. The other things are my kids. They enjoyed the snow. I didn't.

My daughter with a hat on

Fields at the back of the house. There are cows in them now.

For those of you that are colour-blind, this photo is in black and white.

For some reason I didn't my camera out again for ages. But I did take some crap photos with my phone camera thingy. Took me ages to work out how to get them off my crap phone camera thingy and onto my computer thingy, but I did, so there.

These cows attacked me and my children. We had to jump over the fence to escape them (I threw the kids actually). We are now on the other side of the fence goading them.

Come and have a go if you think you're hard enough.

Some horses who lived not far from where Darwin got married. I wonder if they knew him.

Anyways, they was cousins or something and all the kids were inbreds, which is kind of ironic for the guy who invented evolution

One day we went to Shrewsbury, which is in Shropshire.

I think this is the place where you are still allowed to kill welsh people.

I tried, but couldn't find any, I don't suppose it's their top holiday destination

This Darwin gets around, apparently he was from here.

Really nice pictures. When the sun is out England can be so beautiful. Don't hold your breath though. As for killing Welsh, well just do it on the quiet and try not to brag and you're probably o.k. with it.
Definition of a Welshman.....Irishman that couldn't swim. Just as well really as I'm quarter Welsh meself boyo ....Yaki Da and sospan foch etc.

A Thai festival near Alderley Edge.

Can't remember exactly where, but it was a big hotel with a golf course.

    Bouncy castles and things

The local thai shop "Tim Thai" was there and supplied us with free food.

Some old Thai lady with a barbecue in the middle of a golf course

Didn't stay long as it said on the flyer it was 10am - 6pm, we turned up at 3.30 and it closed at 4pm.

    Good organisation as normal

    Getting pretty recent now.

    Last weekend in Hoylake.

We are walking out to that island, which isn't an island because the tide is out.

It was actually hot and sunny, about 28 celsius.

We managed to collect a few bags of cockles, but apparently they weren't very nice.

    On the island

    looking back

    climbing up

    Out to sea

    Some arty shots

    Walking back

No map and we managed to get lost a few times

Fortunately I had the wife there to carry a picnic

Who said cycle helmets aren't cool?

Fantastic pics mate. Nice to see some real life stuff for a change.
When you said 'back to Crewe' does that mean you are a former resident? If so, did you ever live in Goulden St?
