    Online passport photo rejected

    I wondered if anyone can help?? I have completed an online passport renewal, all paid for. They have emailed me back and said my photo has failed the checks as my head was tilted (I was born with lopsided shoulders so this was maybe why!). I did these photos on a smartphone at home. I have made several other attempts uploading a new photo but they were all blurred this time. I have to submit a new photo bu 1st april. What is my best option?? Can i go to a Max Spielmann and get them to do me a photo and can I send the passport office the hard copy??? Or do they give me a digital code??? I am quite worried as the email stated if i do not sumbit a good enough photo by 1st april then my money cannot be refunded. Anyone got any advice???? Was going to phone passport people tomorrow to see what they say aswell...

    Go to a shop. Get a proper photo taken, ask for the digital version. Upload/email it.

    The UK Online passport system checks the passport photo and passes/rejects it online in real time. It has done so since at least 2019, which is when I last applied.

    Just another joker that needs to be nipped in the bud...
