    Lanes, Trains and Automobiles.......

Had a couple of days spare, popped up the coast and met up with one of my sons for some fish and chips. Can you guess where?

Cold, and he is a short arse

Not sure what that is, was the first day and it got hazy later. My kid can't half drink like i used to and get over it quicker. He thinks its funny but we'll see when the estate is settled.

Actually, I was thinking that beach looks like Graney to me?

    I just don't want a beer at 5.6%. I reckon 4 to 5% is better, particularly if you're out for a few.

I'm thinking about heading up that way next week!
Watched a great YouTube video on Whitby last night.
Might have a couple of days there while its scorching.

Btw looks like Anglesey to me, where the sun always shines.

^^ Yes its Whitby, if someone had googled the Granby Hotel off the beer mat they'd have got it. We went there literally for a Dad and Son meet up fish and chips, three times we had F&C it turns out and a little throwback, more on all this tomorrow. BTW we didn't stay at the Granby.

your beer mat is out of focus but the silhouette of the abbey in your photo is iconic and very recognisable. its also where bram stoker got his inspiration for dracula.
