Great thread
Nice cheese
Big work and very well done
A decent thread and will probably keep you out of the pokey for about a month or two, as mentioned before the pics uploading here is now a major nightmare and part of the reason many don’t bother anymore.
I put 10 pics in one post today all uploaded from my phone.
I then had to double click on them from a laptop to make them full size. Took about 10 minutes.
It is a ballache and really needs sorting even if it's only so we can see a pic of Cyrilles curry.
5 stars from me, more travel threads needed.
Even if its members focussing on a local area, it's all interesting to others who live far away.
Shalom
^ Is that all you've got?
The Roman Baths were built in AD 60...
Meh, I'll give you Newgrange, built 3,200 BC

^ I guess you mean BC
well this has got all ageist, actually the whole area has loads of ancient monuments, you'll probably heard of:
Stonehenge c3000 years old and about 18 miles away
no my pic but chose it for two reasons, firstly you can see how big the stones are and secondly there's traffic, you used to be able to drive right past it but they have now diverted the road
But Stonehenge is a youngster, Avebury (not my pics again) is much older and about 14 miles away, I'm told camping in the stone circle on magic mushrooms is a freaky experience.
Yeah. Newgrange is still 400-500 years older than Avebury. Just saying.
Its not a competition, i was just pointing out the local bronze aged attractions but carry on.
How many people were wearing a mask that day, striglis?
From what I could see, only the people working in the shops and one guy (cop?) at the door where the wedding was taking place. Nobody outside seemed to be wearing a mask.

Generally nobody wears a mask outside Nev, people side step and give wide berths to each other and its not crowded. Indoors is a different matter and masks are compulsory. It feels like even when everyone is jabbed and things return to some semblance of normality we will still be wearing masks indoors. Just can't see an end to it at the moment.
Righto, unwraped
Main course;
Top -Ragstone Goats cheese - goaty and firmer
Middle - Valencay Goats cheese - Troy's recommendation and very good, not too goaty
Bottom - Baronet Brie
Top right - Colston Bassett Shropshire Blue
Bottom right - Westcombe Cheddar
and a side salad
all unpasteurised
Looks fantastic. Finally, two nicks later you post some decent food pics. Did you get a new phone?
^ You've made me homesick with your pics and now you've destroyed me with that cheese platter.
You cannot imagine how much I miss that.
I buy half decent Cheddar in Makro in Korat for an extortionate price so mix it with the cheaper and tasteless Aro 'Cheddar' for cooking.
Here is my cheese board...
I see your fancy figs... bet ya can't get custard apple in Bath?
Edit: At least I can get 3 litres of Mont Clair for less than 1000 Baht (just). You have to have red wine with cheese.
Next you'll be telling me you can get all sorts of wine for a fraction of the price in the West Country, no doubt?
