There's WiFi and charging ports on some and 5G in parts of UK now.

I haven't bought a newspaper in over 15 years. The Metro is a freebie, the only way they survive now is through advertising.
Newspapers are pretty much a thing of the past with tinternet now.
The BBC will be also when everyone stops paying the licence fee.
