Chitty's quest for the fountain of eternal youth in Buxton...

Buxton, home of Buxton Water, is a thermal spa town nestled in the centre of the beautiful Peak District and the UK’s oldest National Park. It is not surprising it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the region, with its stunning ornamental gardens and famous Georgian and Victorian architecture which provide an impressive backdrop to a rich and vibrant range of music, theatre and festivals. With a wealth of independent shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, natural wonders such as Poole’s Cavern, attractions such as Buxton Opera House, Go Ape, Buxton Raceway and two golf courses, there is something for everyone.

That's the intro on the land of the fountain of youth, now on with the quest and pics

We used to have a day out at the Buxton Carnival every year 'cos there were a few reds down there that we knew. Loads of Utd piling down on the train from Piccadilly; it was a good day out and an even better night. Proper fucking messy, in fact.

    Didn't have much water though.

Once went to the Opera House with school too. Boring as fuck. Preferred the Utd days out.

The best quality spring water on the planet.
Comes up from the bowls of the mountain warm after years of seeping through the earth and rock.

No need to spend £18 on the antique toilet roll holder pictured above then.
