    Knutsford is said to be recession proof on account of the amount of millionaires residing there.

    ^^ Go back tomorrow and pick her up mate... she'll still be fresher rhan some of your supermarket bargains!

    ^ Too right... I had a boss in Norway who caught Limes disease... probably from a deer tick when waliking his dog. It took an age to diagnose and then he was off work for six months... completely wiped out. It was at least two years until he was back to normal and working full time.

    Many moons ago one could venture inside the fort and view the military memorabilia sadly now closed.

    The amusing part of the day was when I sat down with my beer to enjoy a perfect view.
    The biggest and most feral Scouse family invaded my space , with their rugrats attempting to steal my pump and water bottle of my bike.
    Unfortunately I had to relocate to the far end of the beer garden for a lesser view and picture opportunity.
    Then the sweet old dears on an adjoining table in their Seventies started f'ing and blinding.

    Should really put that in the daily moan thread

    Oh well, that's Merseyside for you...

    I do not want to spoil your biking, but:

    "A cyclist is a disaster for the country's economy:

    He does not buy cars and does not borrow money to buy;
    insurance does not apply;
    does not buy fuel, does not spend on car maintenance and repairs;
    does not use paid parking;
    does not cause serious accidents;
    does not require multiple lanes of highways;
    does not become obese.

    Healthy people are not necessary or useful for the economy:

    do not buy drugs;
    with few exceptions, he does not go to hospitals or doctors;
    they add almost nothing to the country's GDP.

    In contrast, each new McDonald's store will create at least 30 jobs:

    10 cardiologists;
    10 dentists;
    10 nutrition and nutrition experts
    and obviously also people who work in the store itself. "

    Therefore, choose carefully:

    Cyclist or McDonald's? This is worth thinking about…

    PS: Walking is even worse. Pedestrians don't even buy a bike...

    Hi Helge, I been watching some of the highlights but not much.
    Did see that horrendous crash. Much prefer cycling to watching it, gets a bit boring after 5 minutes plus I've mostly been watching the football.

    Had a couple of decent hot rides this week, so I celebrated with a new t-shirt...

    "That explains the good head "

    Four hours up and down the hills was pushing it a bit.

    Should stick to 1 or 2 hour rides, knees started to click and was struggling to get home for the last hour.

    Still some decent pics....

    A lots happened at Chez Chitty since my last ride out, so it was good to clear the fog and blow away the cobwebs today.
    Combining Remberance day with Christmas is a novel idea, all the poppys on the tree were hand knitted and dedicated to a fallen hero...

    ^ Nice.

    It was really mild down in Somerset today... I spent all morning gardening. Me mum's garden is completely overgrown.
