I gave you a red for these pics last night. No idea why!

Just off out for a pint in town now! Let me know when free of the lurgy stress and we'll try another time.

The rugged terrain of the canal tow path was no issue for my 28mm Schalbe tyres, however the heat for me was.

Was attempting to visit the historic market town of Glossop today through the ups and downs of the Dales.

Even the banana, strawberries, 6 eggs whites milkshake couldn't propel me there.

I have noticed my improvement and stamina has increased due to losing 8kg in 6 months. At my age there's no need for all that extra muscle and weight up top. It's better to be leaner..

A few pics from today's sauna on a saddle..

I was in Glossop last week as well. A beautiful place and a cracking roast at the end of it too.

Nice pics Hal, would have liked to cycle over that way but the hills were too much.
I've had a good cycling season this year, probably better than the preceding 4 years of this thread put together.
Over 2000 miles in 6 months of lockdown.
Lost about 8 kilos as well which can't hurt at my age.
Will have to do some other type of exercise now untill the Spring as i'm a fairweather cyclist.

Completed a hour 25 mile time trial today with some unforgiving hills.

To quote the words of Somtamslap, i was too busy smashing myself into oblivion to take any pics.

Left it late and it was getting dark, which reminds me to buy some bike lights.

Legs were like jelly and eye pupils twice the size on completion.

Obviously overdone it yesterday, one of my testicles has swollen up like a plum.
    Is this normal?
Has anyone else experienced a swollen undercarriage from cycling?

After a month off due to an injury to my undercarriage it was refreshing to spend a couple of hours leisurely cycling dry country lanes like this..
    On my bike-20201105_150522-jpg

I felt like one of those old London Black taxis for the first ten minutes, coughing, sputtering and shaking till I got my mojo back.

First day of the 2nd lockdown and back in the saddle.

Hoping for more dry days over the winter, not too bothered about the cold thus far coz I double skin up with cycling attire.

    A whole month?

To be honest it sounds more like a Pornhub problem than a cycling problem.

Sexual activity is reported as the most common risk factor for epididymitis; however, those who are not sexually active may be at risk too. Participating in strenuous physical activity, riding a bicycle or motorcycle, or sitting for prolonged periods of time increase the chance for epididymitis.

Epididymitis is an inflammation of the epididymis. The epididymis is a tube located at the back of the testicles that stores and carries sperm. When this tube becomes swollen, it can cause pain and swelling in the testicles.

Two weeks on antibiotics and it's still not gone.

Well, sadly I'm certainly not in the highest risk group!

But I am sitting in front of the bladdy computer for prolonged periods of time so I'd better watch out.

A couple of chilly and refreshing hours today visiting the ghost town that was the UK's second largest airport.

The aviation industry really is knackered..

Nice tour, I wouldn't have imagined. Sorry about your pilot friend, must be degrading. Let's hope things pick up and he gets back in the air.

    Cheers, the fish.

    Cheers chaps.

A two hour recharge today , it's like the Tour de France today out there.
Everyone taking advantage of the dry sunny day, getting about 6 hours of daylight per day now and the temperature is in single digits.

Even the horses have their Winter coats on..

Strange, a field full of furry pigs.

Wait a minute they're sheep, anyone know why they've been painted pink?

^^I think painting the sheep is for identification? I saw a vid where some sheep were painted red, others blue (different owners).

Is Joe a.k.a Chitty? If yes, why the name change?

    Btw, nice pics.

I'm sure Chitty really knows why the seep have paint on their rear ends. I'm sure every schoolboy in Britian does, but for Katy ... it shows that they have been "mounted" by a male sheep.

"When mating, the ram mounts the ewe and a bit of dye is deposited on the ewe's upper back. This way, the farmer knows which ewes have been impregnated and moves them on to another field away from the ram."

    ^thanks Nev! Didn't know that.

I searched for the vid where I saw the colored sheep. It was about Irish accents! I could understand the reporter, but for the farmers, I couldn't, especially for the 1st one. Understood "farty-five sheep", that's all. Cheers!

^Apologies for the vid, but it has lots of sheep!
