    Back in the saddle today!

A glorious spring like day at 14 of

Attacked by a feral peacock, chased the fooker through a hedge hoping to bang it in the pot tonight.

But alas it was too quick...

Nice to get the opportunity today to blow the cobwebs away with a two hour refreshing ride.

Discovered a new cycle path, here's a few pics from the ride...

Some nice pics on this thread, Chitty. It reminds me of the old houses and countryside we used to pass through on the way to Rudyard Lake when I was a kid.

    Looks lovely and fresh

Why is the saddle raised and not the handlebars ?

You'll get arrested wearing spandex in that position

Some examples of how lanky folk raise the handlebars so as not to attract the attention of doggers and cruisers and other homosexuals

In the past I've seen racehorses in the Lexington Kentucky area with similar get up on their heads. Asked around and was told it was to protect them from flys. The rear half gear in your pic might be for the cold.

I am not a builder but it looks like that lintel is about to collapse.

It also looks like instead of replacing the 'about to collapse' lintel they have climbed up and started filling the slowly increasing gap in the sagging brickwork with polyfilla.
