The tyres on my new ride felt like pizza cutters today.
With the added bonus that they're puncture proof, so no need to carry a pump and spare inner tubes anymore
Tubeless tyres are puncture resistant, as long as you can be bothered to change the sealant every six months.
My MTB had tubeless, when I needed new tyres I put normal tyres and tubes, with a tyre liner. No punctures, no messy and expensive sealant changes.

I've recently taken to riding on the metal rims. Saves the time and expense of fuffing around with tyres.

Nice new bike, Joe, lovely pics, Joe!
I finally got a new bike seat as mine was stolen. Been out quite a bit myself, lately. Cheers!

    Thanks MM!

Have you allen keyed it on or does it have a quick release catch?
Quite a rare incident having a seat stolen, normally they steal the whole bike.
    Probably kids.
Good to hear you're back in the saddle.

Had a little blast myself in the hills today..

Ya, probably kids. I have a quick release seat. The seat cost me almost $100 as I got it at an expensive bike store as they had to put it on with a new post.
I also bought a new bike rack, and it took me a bit to get it on my car, but figured it out. Here you can see my new rack and bike seat. I need to adjust a few things next time I use it as the bike is way too high in the air I think lol.

Maybe a bit more central as well so you dont accidentally clip any fellow cyclists.

Those bike racks are great for getting away from it all and finding new cycling routes.
I've just given mine away as I wasn't using it at all plus it wouldn't fit on the new car

So I take it you have some cycling adventures planned??

I'm taking it to the Quebec side tomorrow morning for a new jaunt on an old rail trail (stone dust).
In a few weeks heading to Niagara Falls. Haven't been since I was a youngster.

Looks cool I'd be tempted to bike the 56km, trouble is you'd miss a lot of the sights.

    Blazing saddles!!

Today was a pain in the arse literally, I reckon my saddle needs adjusting.

Five gruelling hours but some great pics.

Todays mission was a search for the old Man City Centre spot.

Did have a look for Gooch close around the corner but someone keeps pinching the road sign.
A feared place in the 90's and not a place to go after dark.
The Gooch Gang were responsible for the City's reputation and nickname back then as Gunchester.

The place is a tad gentrified nowadays and the fastest growing city in Europe.

^ I'm enjoying it mate, just too busy to do pertinent posts these days!

That machinery... to open/close the lock gate?

And they really install dogging taps in the car parks up your way? I never realised how popular it is. It's good to clean up, I guess.

I'm still enjoying your adventures in the UK countryside, Joe. The pic of the lamb+fries looked great, but not so impressed with the porkchop & beans (not too much fond of baked beans). Keep cycling!

Decent day in the saddle apart from when the seat shifted position, unfortunately I had no tool kit so had to ride the last hour standing up.

Hey Joe, fantastic pics! I love the one with the red leaves on the house with the tombstones.
It was also a fantastic warm day here as well. Sucks that you had to stand up at the end!

Jeez , has it really been that long?

Last ride was six months ago due to the longest wetist Winter I can remember.

A good pumping , a quick squirt of lubrication and the old bike was ready for a good ride.

Hamstrings were a bit stiff but thank goodness for muscle memory.
