The weather at the moment is a tad unpredictable, one minute its glorious sunshine then 20 minutes down the road its changing to pissing down and freezing .

Actually got a decent ride out today and some reasonable weather although the wind on my return route was a tad brutal.

Stated the day with a strawberry, banana and raspberry ripple ice cream smoothie to fuel the thighs.

A few for the car enthusiasts on here, answers on a postcard as to what type they're

^I agree, good pics. I particularly liked the postcard-esque pic. My only complaint: no MAMILs? (not necessarily you, lol)

Happy Jubilee weekend! The Queen is looking fine & dandy.

A 'sandwich on a baguette' must be an American thing.

Like spaghetti = noodles, 300kg = normal weight, school = shooting practice.

    Says the forum hall monitor.

90% of sandwiches in California will be on a sour dough roll or baguette. Its all I ate and and all I eat upon return. Its such a pity that some cucumbers on white bread with the crust trimmed off is what you call a sandwich Cy.

I have lost it when I enjoy sandwiches on nice bread.

Up to you which style you like, but its nice to know there is a choice in some parts of the world.

So you’re making shit up, too.

The bottom two are on sourdough rolls or baguettes.

Please dont compare me to FaRT, when you are the one incessantly scouring the board for posts you can "correct". It is getting on peoples nerves, as has been pointed out by various posters.

I once again suggest you get a hobby as it seems you are unemployed and bored to tears.

    Not in non-American English.

    Possibly not in American English.

Anyway, nice pics Joe, how much for one of the caravans, in case me funds dry up and I'm forced to do a Dill?

I actually find this conversation mind blowing.

    baguette sandwich - Google-haku

Not trying to be argumentative at all, but most Californian's have their sandwiches on sour dough rolls or baguettes. You have a choice of Wheat, Rye, Onion roll or sourdough. More than half are on sourdough.
I really can't recall have a deli made sandwich on anything else. Miss them as here I use wheat bread most of the time.

So in your eyes a banh mi is not a sandwich? If so what is it?

It's not the bread, it's your terminology 'on'.

Nobody has a sandwich 'on' a type of bread. Outside of ancient decrepit Yankericans on pot, maaaan.

There's not enough room in it to swing a baguette

Nice pics, those little country lane alleyways are cool.
Beautiful, a church? So many churches and old architecture in England. Makes me want to return.
I've been out a lot on my bike too. Been doing about 20 km rides along the canal which I live right next to now.

Good to hear MM, look forward as always to your outstanding pics on here.

No baguettes, buttys or sandwiches to fuel up for the ride today.
