After the longest Winter on record, well it felt that way.

We in the UK have been propelled into a glorious Spring.
21oC today with the aromas of wild garlic, spring lamb shit and daffodils in the air I clipped onto my 3 gear racer and had a spin around the flat Cheshire lanes.

Nice 'spring' pics, Chitty! Glad you finally got your bike out. I got mine out a week ago and have been all over the trails here in this 'green' city of hundreds of trails. My first ride out 30 km's not bad. Got a new bike as well! Happy trails!

Hundreds of trails sound marvellous, I'm always looking for new places to explore on my bike.

Had a brainwave and connected a Bluetooth speaker to me ride so can cruise along to me favourite Barbra Streisand choones yesterday. Am never gonna use earphones when out on a road.

Been a funny old week with the weather, but still managed to get a few decent rides in.

The roads are now back to pre covid congestion levels and it was getting a tad hairy and polluted at times, so headed onto a canal tow path risking punctures from the hawthorns and snapped some wonderful scenery..

The clusters of midges along the tow path were starting to bounce of my head like hailstorm now and at one point I lost my balance trying to unclog and nearly went head first into the canal.
Nursing a few injuries today .

A decent week of rides with a stunning sunset to end it with...
