OK, the shop. Scrumpy, ciders, preserves & chutneys and some very expensive special items...

New day and back to Jinks.
Land's End
Sennen beach, very near to Land's End
Amazing how fast she can run, she covered the length of it in seconds. She also chased some seagulls a tad out of her depth...
Then for some lunch in a dog friendly café in Sennen
^
Gosh, that lot brings back memories.
I used to live in Sennen.
I have worked as Lands End carpark attendant and Lands End photographer (with the signpost thingy).
You can see my sister's house from where you took that pic on the beach

Hehehe. We did the touristy thing and had our pic taken by the Land's End photographer. How long did you do that?Originally Posted by Thetyim
It's a very beautiful country, I don't give a fuck what the fat losers on here say.
I was in Penzance last week, not a great place on a wet, windy day. Had a great roast lamb dinner though
And Here! Here! to that,Originally Posted by flashbang
There are many beautiful countries in the world, but for scenery like this, you'd be hard put to get better than UK
Cornish pasties are rather overrated.
What was Gravy doing there on your honeymoon ?
Nice pics
Haven't you got a cousin that needs seducing, Pat?
OK, we're on the last leg, peeps.
We visited the Cornish seal sanctuary (took Jinks too as dogs are allowed). Nice location and plenty of space to walk
CORNISH SEAL SANCTUARY
They have other animals too, like otters
These last ones are of Jinks and Looe on our last full day. A bit self indulgent, but the light was so interesting and most of these pics are pure flukes, as I couldn't see the image display (bright light & poor eyesight for small detail)
It'd be great, I reckon!Originally Posted by November Rain
great little picture thread luvcheers and beers.
Can you believe, they`ve been filming a new series called Jamaica inn (due out Easter 2014) just above my house. How they make Yorkshire look like Cornwall is beyond me. I was on the set for the inn a few weeks ago. They ran out of money and had to get a new director in, to bring it back on budget. Apparently, the previous director spent all the money on sets and forgot to allow for lighting.
Anyway, great trip report NR. Sorry, got to spread the love and all that.
I aint superstitious, but I know when somethings wrong
I`ve been dragging my heels with a bitch called hope
Let the undercurrent drag me along.
Charlestown is a lovely little place to hang for a couple of hours.
Great pictures there NR! I remember St. Michaels Mount one summer, heaving with Students, waiting for the tide to come back in, so that they could try to beat it back to the mainland! Nice to see The Needles too. I haven't been there for years.
Thought The Needles was Isle of Wight? Take it I shouldn't be taking on the Eggheads in Geography...Originally Posted by Loombucket
