I have noticed recently a red below my name, what did it take to get that red, and who gave it to me?

have a look at your user cp, scroll down to the bottom, your last 5 reputation points will be in there along with the person that gave it to you and any comments.

the last red should be from me.

you can hand out only 20 repos per day I think and you can't smite or green the same poster twice until you have done 20 more people.
