More help with smilies

Would anyone be kind enough to patiently explain to me how to insert smilies into repo comments. I get some nice ones awarded to me and would like to return them when words are insufficient. Thanks

And so on, or you can copy & paste them.

if you open the smiley box you will see text next to each smiley, they are the words you need to use to get the smiley, all that needs adding is a : at the beginning and the end, ie :somesmileyweaintgot:
