    Question Avatar pic size restriction...Help!

How does one go about reducing the size of a pic that one might want to use as an avatar? Said pic was taken on my phone and it's like 1.5 MB or so. Too big for avatar as is.

Draw me a picture...in crayon preferably. Have no photo manipulation skills whatsoever.

    TIA

Use a picture resizer. Either download one or do it online.

I use PIXresizer. Does what it says on the tin.

Here's an online one, though I haven't tried this one myself. Resize Images Online - Reduce JPG, BMP, GIF, PNG images

Ok thanks Nev. I'll have to check it out later when I'm back on my PC. Cheers.

Download an app called picsart. It has a resize on there and it's easy to edit and manipulate pics with. Easy to use too.

resizeyourimage.com is less complicated for simple and straight forward everyday downsizing. No app downloading required.
As both you and Nev might be suggesting - there are numerous image resizing sites/apps available......depending on what one wishes to use it for.

For Teakdoor the maximum size of your custom avatar image is 120 by 120 pixels or 50.0 KB (whichever is smaller).

This one is 120 x 67. Let me know if you want a different size.
