Seems to be a flaw in the timing when bots can create new threads faster than we can report them ............................

Agree. Site spam protection is not the best.

Perhaps a simple change would at least help.

All new accounts can only post in Newbies Lounge until they reach 10 posts.

I also think 20 is reasonable. A person wishing to join the community can soon knock out 20 posts.

Five posts is enough to deter spammers and would cause less inconvenience to newbies
