I’ve learned to go with the flow and accept it. Besides gray hair kinda gives it away.

At pick up today I was chatting to the school principal and a young kid went by and said Dr Willy, how old are you?

I replied the same age as your father, how old is he BTW?

    the kid replied 37

    i said yep, me too.

and then he called me a liar.

i was too scared to ask how old his grandfather was, and nor did I want to know.

Last year I had since visitors from Aus and they brought me some of those beware of dogs signs, as we’ve never any here. Glued it to the gate and I think it looks pretty nifty.

Fast forward to today when I was taking my mutt for a walk and I noticed that our neighbor liked our sign so much he made one of his own… I’m wondering about the grammar? Shall I send cy a flight ticket so he can come over and berate this guy or is he also correct?

The sun was setting as I walked which was nice.

And a well earned post dog walk beverage.

I think it's good to be aware of dogs and not just twice, all of the time.

    That looks like electric wire?

Whenever I come across an electric wire fence when out for a walk back home in Somerset, I always get an urge to touch it. I don't know why.

Yes, but as it’s on top of a 8” fence you’d be unlikely to reach it. Besides, I have no idea what voltage they run through such fences here, but it might be more than the cow fence electrical jolts you’re used to.

    Even Edmond could reach that!

I think farmers run 12 Volts through electric fences in the UK. It's not strong, but I once found a dead deer tangled up in one so maybe lethal for a small animal with a sustained charge?

    Get forked

There was a dog coming and knocking over our bins when I was a young lad. My dad hooked one bin up the house mains just before bedtime. An hour or so later there was a very very loud yelp and powercut to the house. It wasn't knocked over again.

But yeah, I'd be a bit apprehensive about touching anything in deepest darkest Bongo-Bongo-Land, especially live electrical wires some lad has put up around his pad.

DrWilly is living in some nice digs. He's doing very well for himself. I've also noticed he doesn't drink bottom shelf beer.

Took a couple of pics while waking the mutt. Grey skies and 14°C.

This road is somewhat dusty and ill kept.

A day in the life in Southern Africa-img_4461-jpeg

But then other sections are carefully manicured, hardly looks like Africa at all…

Until we walk passed this gate painted with a zebra pattern.

Seen this, willy? Some British couples lodge in Southern Africa.
Looks nice for a night but I bet there's no Maccys for miles.

Did you get out to the Leopard’s Hill Polocrosse club (not the polo club in town)? It’s the same place that hosted the international rugby game last month.

My regular haunts there were the Lusaka Golf club, the Chillanga golf club and the Marco Polo club.

The only safe places for whites at the time.

Some sort of street car show for those that like that sort of thing.

King of Drag competition heats up in Lusaka!

The King of Drag competition is currently underway along Ngwerere Road at the Kasisi junction, which has been temporarily closed to accommodate the event.

This year’s competition brings together toptier drivers from Zambia, Kenya, South Africa and Zimbabwe, showcasing a thrilling mix of speed and performance. The event features a range of high performance sports cars and superbikes as drivers compete to determine the fastest on the strip.

Notable entries include the Toyota GR Supra, Mercedes-Benz GLE 63 AMG, BMW M3 (F80 generation), Audi RS3, Nissan 350Z and Zambia’s fan favorite the Toyota Mark X. Superbike riders are also revving up to prove their dominance on the track.

Spectators are flocking to witness the showdown which highlights not just speed but engineering excellence and motorsport passion across the region.

    hymen???

    god you are thick.

you cant even post a racist anti-semitic trope without fucking up somehow.

if it wasnt for the worlds jews, knuckle dragging oafs like you would still be grunting, swilling bin juice and swinging from the fucking trees.

its no wonder that as you near retirement you are reduced to taking a job with the pygmies in bongo bongo land.

    what a loser.
