Gas Works Park has a play area with a large play barn, and big hill popular for flying kites. Special park features include a sundial, and a beautiful view of Seattle. Access to Lake Union is restricted at Gas Works Park, as the lake sediment contains hazardous substances. Entering the water or launching boats from the park is prohibited (SMC 18.12.070) There is no swimming, no fishing and no wading in the park. The Burke-Gilman Trail runs past Gas Works parking lot and follows the Burlington-Northern Railroad 12.5 miles north to Log Boom Park in Kenmore.

I can one up that, I think. Bear sausage brought back by my buddy from Alaska. He brought salmon and halibut as well, and he used to do it every year until he sold his place here in Seattle. Lives in Alaska full time now.

I was you tubing the Alaska state troopers recently and noticed that vehicular bear kills by accident were made good use of.if you hit one report it and a foundation comes to get it and it gets distributed to the homeless .seems like a good idea
We've only got koala bears in Oz and there's not much meat on em and not real tasty so we leave em alone. Plus there kinda cute and unlikely to kill you.
