if it is just for kids to splash around, which is what willy originally said it would be for, then one of those cheapo things will be fine, you dont need a permanent pool and all the piping, wiring, pumps and maintenance that are part of a permanent set up for that.

    whats your pool like bsnub?

Best money I've ever spent. Endless fun for kids and adults. Sure miss mine but don't have the space for one here.Building a swimming pool in Africa.-20221225_123135-jpg

And in Lao I could use it pretty much all year round. I'm surprised salt isn't an option there willy.its definately the go. Easier on the eyes and skin and cheap

He promised to headbutt me, if he ever saw me. Charming.

I guess that my solution would be that he 'never saw me'.

are you some sort of colonial overlord? or do you just want to show off to your hero stumpy.

if you just want something for the kids to splash around in, no laps etc. whats wrong with this. no digging, no maintenance, no polluting trucks, no bricks, no mess, no broken water pipes, no $15000 ( they must have seen you coming, ), just £69.99 from e bay.

    you know it makes sense.
you have really no kangaroo tax. A water shortage in Africa? And you know this how? Anyway you just keep doing your bit for water conservation by only having the ab nam once a week Wether
You need it or not. Hopefully you are enjoying nice weather.

Well, I’ve chosen an in ground pool.

While an above ground pool is great for fun and entertaining, an inground pool offers the most value overall and comes with a wide range of options.

Which is Better: Inground Pool or Above Ground Pool?

As a matter of interest what's your pump and filtration options

    Uv
    Sand
    Cartridge etc

I'm sure your family will enjoy it privacy , are their wandering crocs as sometimes happens in LOS?

Will you use a cover ? If so a roll type?

The reason I ask I am about to renovate our little used small pool 36 cubic meter one, at present pating 50 baht to use nearby hotel is a no brainer, no upkeep, but as I expire the privacy and convenence of a brealfast dip may appeal or a jacuzzi?

Anyone installed a jazuzzi in Thailand?

Backspin - I must admit, the way you've masterfully triggered off this 'pool pissing' contest has left me in awe.

The same old wheezing blowhards puffing up their steaks will surely bite here.

    Bravo.

we’ll use a roll type cover.

Currently 6 workers, only 1 of them digging. It I’ve paid for the project, not per hour so I guess it’s NMP.

The hole is getting deeper, I’m wondering why it will take 4 weeks to build. This is only day 4.

Are they camping onsite, sometimes construction workers eke it out as only digs until next contract?
