Here’s a pic with the workers in it. The deep end will be deep enough.

^That is much better with humans in the photo

I had been labouring under the misapprehension that it was only about 1 metre deep at the deep end, without the human perspective

It's an African pantomime and it's not even Christmas yet.

Willy and the Seven Dwarfs .

Hey Willy have you taught them to sing yet?

Hi ho hi ho it's off to work we go...

Well, I didn't have Chitty's grandad and Shaun Wright Phillips and his 7 brothers on tonight's TD bingo card, I have to say.

This place is tame compared to some of the conversations and piss taking at work.

    That's eight Dwarfs not 7!

    What's the eighth drawfs name?

Inspecting the day’s work. Rebar looks close to done.

They’ve changed the plan on pushing the water hoses aside and cut them all.

pushed back water hoses, the cheeky fcukers left their rubbish here too. I assume they will add an extra foot to each so they can go around the pool.

^ water hoses... a minor inconvenience and easily rectified.

That rebar... it's propped up from the dirt before the pour? I'm sure it is but check on that.

It’s a twenty year warranty, so I’m not too fussed that they’ll get it right. I think that’s what that pile of cinder blocks is for.

    ^ No worries then.

You don't often get a 20 year warranty!

    Should see you through!

Will they be doing a concrete pour for the floor and using the cinder blocks for the walls. Also there should be a rubber water stop between flooring and walls I seem to recall from my build
Except my build was all concrete poured
    Walls and floor

To be honest, BLD, i dont know. I didn't quiz them on the structure or how they would build it, just that they would. I know my lane and it is not building swimming pools.

It will be interesting to see. Unfortunately, I’m travelling next week so will have to rely on her indoors for pics and a daily update.

Gee Armstrong here I thought you were a English teacher but you are referencing geometry. Always good to expand your skill set. Next up maybe trigonometry or material science?

Btw. How is that commune house and family pool progressing? Or is that a binned idea?

It's going fine. A few governmental issues but they've broken ground.

Unfortunately I had to ask for it to be deleted when Panama Hat decided to dox me.
