    No car day, Ulaanbaatar

Ulaanbaatar is more often than not a horribly congested city. Once in a while the whole center goes car free and provides some much welcome respite. I slapped on my rollerblade and took some snaps of a city that I don't often photograph, despite having lived here for 4 years.

What a great idea. I remember the driving there as being extremely agressive, so a break would be good. Do they still have a non-drinking day once a month and does it coincide with the non-driving day?

Nice pics, mandaloopy, thanks. Enjoy the sun while it lasts. Winter is coming.... (said in a Ned Stark accent)

No booze day got scrapped last year to try and claw back some of the lost money during lockdown. Other cities have kept it though
