Breath taking. Photos do not do it justice.

The Grand Canyon should be on everyone’s bucket list.

^Indeed it is..thanks for the jaw dropping photos.
I have relatives that live in Arizona, could be worth a visit to that neck of the woods.
Did you stand on that glass walk thingy they have now, where you can get a 365 degree view of the canyon? I also heard you can go down into the canyon and it is really built up.

The glass walk is in the west side of the park which is hundreds of miles from where I was in the east end of the park. As far as I know, one can only walk or raft in the canyon. Never heard of any kind of anything built in there.

    Great pics.

The only way they could be improved would be if the horizon was at a 30 degree angle.

I heard about a project wanting to be built there a long time ago called Escalade. I had assumed it was in development, but upon further research I discovered that The Navajo nation that are the original ancestors from there, have been fighting against this project for a long time. The saga continues and who's to say that one day it won't happen. I really hope it doesn't happen though.

For anyone interested you can read more about it here.

rather depends how far back, Bering up I believe they were all Asians seeking the nine O'Clock Moose, even the Chinese English momgrels and Krauts all came from the rift if we are to believe Leakey .

My old man who survived the Japanese Imperial army with one lung left from Burmese campaign said son it's not where you're coming from it's where you are going.

For me it's entropy all the way from Mae Khong to Montreal in November then World Cup in VTE where my pals running a book.

The Navajo have preserved a distinct culture through adversity and I believe lack of Gateau or as the Alsakans say Yukon't have your KAYAK and eat it

The camera can wash out colours, so wanted to adjust a few tones in those amazing pics to see the extra details.

    What a place.

The rock on the top left of that bottom pic is precariously balanced!

Do you recall if it had a name or story behind it? Hard to imagine that it's balanced like that just from nature.

There were too many precariously balanced rocks to give them all names! Erosion wears soil or stone away underneath them until one day they fall.

Your touching up of the photos appreciated.
