    Happy birthday BS.

    Blackie Spit damn, many memories.

It's nice down there if you can avoid those damn trains that seem to come through every fifteen minutes going at twice the speed they should.

You get the weekend off last minute. Jump on Expedia, see if there's somewhere to go. See a B and B with an outdoor pool for one of the hottest June days in memory. Book it ? Or nah. I'll just sweat my bag off at home doing nothing, because this place looks a little sketch. I think they will do an exit scam and there wont be a place for me when I show up.

    Its all easy in hindsight.

Here is someone elses review. One finally got through. Its hard to tell if they've even begun to put the fire out. Or if they even realize that they have 4 alarm blaze.

This property is a SHAM! It was locked up and the neighbor was kind enough to let me know the managers of the property packed up and left in middle of the night! I was one of many people out of a place to stay. Also Expedia was NO HELP at all!!!!!! What a ridiculous experience.

    Google review

    Tiffanya day ago on Google

    1/5

Can't even give it lower stars. The place does NOT exist. They ghosted us and moved literally everything out overnight. We booked this home for June 25-27. Showed up at 4pm earlier tonight and the place was empty. Finally a neighbor came busy to let us know they have been packing up and bringing a UHaul in at midnight the past few nights and emptying it out. Save yourself the hassle. PLEASE don't book and waste your weekend like we did.

You are a full stop idiot. Scammers are everywhere, you just have to be smart enough not to get caught in their web.

That's some nice boilerplate talk. But when someone runs a legit business for a few years , and builds up a good reputation , but then decides to burn it to the ground overnight, and you happen to be there when it happens, there's not a whole lot you could have done to prevent it.

Judging by Expedia's reaction, I don't think this has hardly ever happened before.

Did your Best Western have aircon? I've been contemplating renting a hotel because my shitty portable one can't keep up with this heat. Supposed to feel like 50 degrees with the humidex tomorrow. Fucking insane for a city where I only needed the ac for about 10 days last year.

Yeah it did. And it worked fine. I could have pulled this trip completely out of the fire if the hotels pools were open. But none are in Surrey anyway. I think there's some hotel pools open in Vancouver.

    *sigh*

You've spent much of your evening pasting up reviews from previous customers telling you that this place is a scam.

That's hardly analogous to a place being burned to the ground overnight, you utter clown.

It just shows that you should have exercised more caution before parting with your money - just like with those pairs of trousers you bought and found they didn't fit.

Instead you just keep on making poor decisions and then being an idiot by blaming it on other people.

    .
These 2 reviews are just reviews from the people who were scammed at the exact same time as me. Reviews from the night of the 26th are just trickling in now. Mine should be up soon

At the end of the day, it is you that was scammed, not me. There were some red flags that you clearly were too dense to pick up on.

Firstly, why would anyone in their right mind convert a relatively mundane suburban home into a Bed and Breakfast? Secondly, why would you want to share a relatively mundane suburban home with some complete strangers?

    Bingo.

    Says the Airbnb fanatic

The business ran legit for 2.5 years. Every travel site i go to, Hotels.com, Expedia, Travago, you name it, they are on it with good reviews
