That's the Acropolis at the end of the pic. Asking prices circa 1200e /M in solid buildings. Tenure is share of freehold. The buyer pays the agent fee - 2%
Well, judging from the pics, looks like everyone is really happy there. Not gloomy at all.
Return to the Uk meant a covid test in Athens, followed by a 24 hour wait for the result. The cost was 60 euros.
in order to check in I was required to show proof of payment to an authorised testing centre and appointments at +2 and +8 days for testing. It seems a bit of a racket. All are circa £200.
Im required to self isolate at home now for 10 days. Not allowed to leave the premises under any pretext.
The flight home was at least quite pleasant. An extra 105 euros meant a proper flat bed seat, a better than average three course in flight meal, four mini bottles if Champagne, two glasses of Sancerre and eight brandy miniatures with a decent coffee. In fact just as I anticipated the "I'm unable to serve you any more alcohol, sir" moment we were coming in to land and they stopped serving anyway.
Being first off the plane was useful. It was a full 787 and all covid certificates and passenger locator forms were checked before passport control.
As an added bonus now we are out of the EU we have Duty Free again! 400 fags for 58 euros. I don't smoke but they will be a useful currency when sterling collapses into dust.
