    Evacuation Centre for Foreigners.

I read about the new Evacuation Centre for Foreigners place that was set up on Udom Suk soi 18 for flood victims the other day and was interested to see what it was like.
Anyways. I have got hold of a Youtube video, and to be honest I hope I never have to enter its doors (mainly due to 10pm curfew).
Being a keen observer, I noticed that no actual foreigners were present at the centre and it looked pretty dead.
Just a heads up for any of you lot that need a place to crash (has DJPat gone home yet?) if the worst comes to the worst.

    Black diamonds? I shit 'em.

Separating out the foreign devils is the first step leading to the cattle cars to the camps. Beware.

they say that migrant workers will be allowed in.

i wonder how they would deal with 50 or 100 burmese labourers if they turned up on the doorstep.

the facilities there are undoubtedly better than most of the centres for thais, and for sure better than the migrant worker centre in nakorn pathom.

^ The dude said that they have installed a western toilet (don't know if he meant plural or not) and he also went on to say if the migrants rocked up, then he would let them in due to "human rights".

    Such a nice bloke.

Looking at the clip again, if I stayed there I would feel like a large jar of nam prik sleeping under one of those plastic guard thingies that keep the flies from getting in (or out) of the condiments!

Also noted that our man with the finger on the pulse StrontiumDog has posted the same vid on his daily flood thread which is well worth a follow.
