All fast food restaurants are shit? They are only good if you want to get fat and unhealthy. Issan food is much better.

you are British, you have no fucking idea what good food is. You were raised on meat pie and peas, your brain is not trained to understand what good food is unless you read it in a magazine.

I find the Brits lecturing others about food hilarious. The French expats I know have sophisticated taste and they all say the same thing, food in England is shit. Period. I am not including Indian curry as part of British food cuisine, ridiculous. If you have the money and can afford expensive restaurant (200 or 300 Euros a head) in England, then yes you will be served with quality, but that same quality will be found in Italy or France for half of the price.

that I agree, we lost the quality, not as much as the passion, but without quality how can there be passion ?

Fast food is ok once in a while. For me it's just that, if I need to eat on the run I'll grab something from a fast food joint or if I'm getting home late and can't be bothered cooking (if the missus is away) or sometimes I just get a craving for something fatty and salty, but to consider it as a regular part of ones diet would be silly.
Here where I live there are lots of Mcd, KFC, pizza hut. but I'd only ever eat it once every month or so.
Just not something that pops to mind when I'm thinking of food.
For fast food I'd much prefer a sandwich subway style.
Fresh bread and trimmings, thin lean slices of meat.
