Thread: The Most Endearing Thing About Your Present Partner

Having been through three marriages and one term relationship which was not formalised, I have noticed one outstanding quality in my latest marriage...

Knowing that many TDers have had previous partners and are now firmly ensconced in a new relationship I was wondering what do you find about your present partner which you consider special...and which was not a factor in any of your previous relationships...

my question is really directed at permanent partners and not to the fleeting short-time relationships which abound in LOS...

The outstanding quality which I was reflecting upon last night after the light went out in the bedroom, was that our home is filled with laughter...there are only the two of us in this house but I find we often laugh...at things...at each other...I don't know...just lots of laughter...and it's great...

I'm sure my previous wives would be surprised to read this as I have always been a serious kinda guy who spent far too much time working and too little time enjoying the important things...like children for example...

It warms my heart when members refer to their kids in simple things like AO sharing the girls homework with them or Memocks excellent post of his daughter watching the cricket today...
you're all lucky guys who understand the blessing of kids which is so fleeting...


anyway...the laughter in my home fills my heart...what fills yours?...
