    Women just don't understand.

So I was watching top gear the other night and my missus was moaning that I should stop that so she could watch her soap. her argument was, you can't afford that car so what do you get out of this?
    She just didn't understand.
They drove across Europe to Romania with contests along the way including a 'whos GPS is better,' which was fun.
The thing is, they did it in a Ferrari, a Lamborghini and an Aston Martin and the ultimate destination was this road.

    To play on with these.

seems like it would be more enjoyable to watch than a soap. I'd much rather be one of the drivers though.

Oh she understands, you do not understand what soap operas mean here. This is why most homes have 2 TV's in western places so you can depart to the Men's lounge, grab up a beer, Fart burp, and dream about what you cannot do

    Dunno what you're talking about.
Mine understands perfectly, it is I that wears the trousers in the house.
So whatever I watch on the telly makes perfect sense.

The power is with who holds the remote at home. My son is a mini me and hogs the remote and wont hand it over with out being forced from his grip. And believes he rules the house when I am not there.
The wife is spewing that I taught him to yell out chicken head when he see someone riding a motorcycle with out a helmet.
He even counts them on the way to school and who ever scores the most chicken heads wins

I am looking for another shed at the moment in Khon kaen. 2 or 3 story shop house. to buy are around a million baht or can rent for between 4,000 and 7,000 baht a month in my area.
Toys down stairs, gym gear on the middle floor and bed TV bar up stairs.
Security is one problem I will have to deal with.

    Women don't understand....

Your're lucky...my wife is into Korean pop music...so she wants to "listen" to Channel V Thailand and music videos with 20 year old Korean guys dancing around. She's old enough to be their grandmother.
(Some good looking Korean girl dancers however...so I watch them instead)

Near impossible to keep a secret as bikes will be coming in and out. A aircon will be a must so the front door is not up all the time as we had a problem before with Thais wondering in for a look and tring to borrow stuff all the time.
A alarm might be the go as well as welding up the back door.

Not a problem at my shed in the village as its on the same block as the wifes little shop and we have good Thai gaurd dogs. The problem is the house in Khon kaen doesnt have enough yard to have a large dog.
Anyway my Pug is vicous and attracts pussy where ever I take her.

My wife asked me how I could love her and still enjoy watching porn.

I told her, I love my car but I still watch Formula 1 too.

She was happy with this analogy - I just never mentioned I also go to Hertz for the occasional rental.

Soaps give people guidance who have no idea of how to run their own lives. Probably why soap opera devotees are so fcuked up.

And another thing, why do people spend so much time listening to the latest songs on the radio/tv and find it so important to know all there is about the pop stars?
Shit. I must be getting old. The things going on in the real world matter most to me these days.
