    btjunkie slow download

I have been using btjunkie a lot lately and have downloaded a ton of stuff which has done so at speed. A 1gb file took only a couple of hour max. However, recently anything i download from here is terribly slow at 5kbs, sometimes 0.4kbs.

Is there a reason for this? My friend seems to think it's because i'm not seeding.

isohunt is fine, so how do a rectify the speeds with bt?

    Thanks

btjunkie is simply a tracker search engine .

clue to your problem is the number of seeds and peers the torrent your downloading has .

Why don't you seed? You don't seed for others and then complain about slow downloads, The irony.

OK smart ass! Let me re-word it. As i'm not familiar with what seeding was or is. My friend explianed that because i delete the file after downloading, this could be the issue as it isn't seeding.

If you download a torrent, then you should always at least re-seed it to a ratio of 2.0.

Common decency dictates you should seed. Only leech scum don't

You don't need to do anything to seed, just don't delete the torrent when your d/l has finished.

Your speed issues will be related to the peers you're connected to. Nothing else (unless you have a static IP and you've been blacklisted for not seeding).
