Having been to the Phillipines on a short break. I found it OK.
Although the bye byes at the airport when you talk to another European and his Filipino girl friend is very hard to take.

Was married to a filipina for 17 years they are totaly different to thais they can be jealous just dont give im a reason as for the kids every time we were there all the filos used to spoil my daughter they thought it was great that she had a white dad
I was there last year with her shes now 24 and they still fuss over her so no there dont seem to be any problems about mixed race
