Shakespeare said, “All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players.” He forgot to mention that I was the chief critic. Acceptance has taught me that there is a bit of good in the worst of us and a bit of bad in the best of us; that we are all children of God and we each have a right to be here. When I complain about me or about you, I am complaining about God’s handiwork. I am saying that I know better than God.

    oh dear.

each to his own and all that and if you find comfort in god then go for it but if everybody in the world thought like that we would all be living under the yoke of the nazis, the stalinists, isis and the mafias.

thankfully there are some who do seek to change that which they see as wrong and are prepared to stand up and fight for their beliefs rather than meekly don the yoke and obey.
Life is simply empirical evidence confirming chaos reigns supreme within immutable laws scarcely understood. For the whimsical among us, hope is merely a measure of time between what exists now and what we would like it to be. Failure, despair and destruction are the waypoints of our destiny illuminated by the illusion of success.

In life, fear is the key and stupidity is its lock.

    Happy New Year!

The freedom from fear is a life-long process. For me the foundation of escaping fear, which is in all of us, is faith. As Carl Jung said, "Any person who has reached forty years of age, and who still has no means of comprehending who he is, where he is, or where he is next going, cannot avoid becoming a neurotic -- to some degree or other. This is true whether his youthful drives for sex, material security and a place in society have been satisfied, or not satisfied."

Another quote from a US president - "we have nothing to fear but fear itself".

Reread my post and try to understand it.

You jumped to the a conclusion about me and were wrong, there's no need to come back and more more wrong assumptions.

At least taxexile and cyrille have the integrity to just fade away.

pay them their double prices and get up on your haunches and sing the national anthem for them when they click their fingers at your citizenship charade.
perhaps if they enjoy your performance they wil throw a thai passport into your hat

respect has to be earned, not demanded, and i feel you just demean yoursrlf jumping through all their contrived and humiliating hoops.

I think you think you are on another thread.

To correct you, one doesn't have to sing the National Anthems anymore.

I think it is fair enough to discriminate against bible thumpers,

    1 They will forgive you.
    2 They are delusional fuckwits.
And farang bible thumpers posting in Thai version for no apparent reason should get charged a yet higher rate..
Panhunger says you're that lifer twat from ajarn forum. Whether that is true or not, your comments reflect a certain limey, jackass quality. I guess I'll have to muddle through your tired responses just to banter with others. You might want to check your colonial mindset at the door and let us mere mortals interact with those pesky Siamese natives. You sit back and drink your gin and tonic at the Brits club. Wait a minute, I forgot your a Tefler.

I always thought there was something wrong about that Chalky fellow, he's a septic. Banality and the mundane raised on high is their trademark, as a rule, and one fears he is no exception.

Careful, he has his own God, but is not religious, who knows what powers he can call up.
Personally I am happy to see him here, it has been a while since Rick (Danger) Thai got booted and Chalky could be a fun replacement.

?? I'm Scottish. The limey bit I directly quoted from a poster who knows Cyrille from another forum.

No I don't have my own God, reread my previous post.

Is it that difficult to figure out a belief in a higher power doesn't need a religion?

My God, these newbies really have a weird forum attitude.
