A woman's body shape may influence how good her memory is, according to US researchers.

Although carrying excess weight anywhere appears to impair older women's brains, carrying it on the hips may make matters worse, they say.

The Northwestern Medicine team found "apple-shaped" women fared better than "pears" on cognitive tests.

But depositing fat around the waist increases the risk of cancer, diabetes and heart disease, experts warn.

They said the findings, in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society, highlighted the importance of maintaining a healthy weight for both body and mind.

Anyhow, over 20 years ago when South Beach was becoming the South Beach it was about 10 years ago (popular), I met a nice woman and spent some time with her.

It was just a short time,.one evening, or part of an evening. After getting to know her a little better, I had made a nice remark about her butt and she had asked me if I had seen it before. A bit puzzled I ask her where would I have seen it and then she told me the story.

She said she was just teasing about me seeing it before because she said the cover of the album (the picture in the post above without the red photoshoped? Bikini bottom on) would have only been seen in the UK. She told me that she was pictured on the cover of a Queen album (I think it was a single when it came out, Bicycle Race) on a bicycle, but it was too racy to be sold like that over here in the states and the cover was changed.

I wasn’t into Queen that much and didn’t question her about it, I was just being courteous and thinkin’, where’s the door, it’s gettin’ late.

That's a very nice memory Landers, and oddly reassuring to know that at least somebody was nailing one of my most cherished schoolboy fantasies
