Lets assume or agree it was a goal, now, how would hawkeye have helped when play didn't stop ? The game continued, so would we have waited for a deadball situation ? what do we do if either team had scored another goal before play stopped, would the subsequent goal count ?

Or do we allow the 5th referee to stop the game ?

We need the same as the Rugby , in a dispute go to video and stop play until a decision is forth coming.

Simulation, jeesus, it is just CHEATING plain and simple.

Anyone guilty of it should be red-carded, zero tolerance.

Agree, video playback now takes less time than many of the player protests that the ref has to deal with.
With so much money being spent and betted on the sport it's amazing that it's not a required by law to stop the open coruption that's creeping in.

In fairness to the TV coverage in the UK and any of the England fans in my pub, nobody has used the non-goal as an excuse for anything. I have yet to meet anyone who is not of the opinion that Germany won fair and square.

^True, England fans are the first to slag off their own teams dismal performance this time around
