Any idea why I keep getting a post bumped off for stating that posting in response to certain members is a waste of time.

The modding on this board has gotten completely arbitrary and pointless, much worse than TV.

My original link was entirely on topic. I responded to the posters remarks, then stated that it all seemed pointless.

If it's just what/who you like/agree with here, and clearly I'm not the only one to think so, then have enough respect--for yourself, others and your your website--to state what the problem with the post is when it is removed. That way people can learn something about what passes, even temporarily, for "rules" here.

If it's too much trouble to explain why people were dumped, make up some kind of boilerplate so it can be seen. Then everyone can learn something. No big deal.

Nice to see this page. Closest I've seen to rules around here.

They'd get more respect if they weren't applied so arbitrarily, especially in issues.
