Stand - up comedy joints in Bangkok?

Are there any places in Bangkok that have stand up comedy open mic nights in English? I used to go to a lot of places in Chicago for a laugh....or not....and kind of miss the night out.

The Bulls Head, though not yet been to see anyone. Imagine somebody of George Carlin's calibre commenting on living in Thailand, he'd be in jail before the end of the show even if he was being affectionate, so I guess any stand up here is very limited in content.

The Bulls Head are the only one that do anything regularly, that I know of. Though it is not an open mic night, more of a set show. Usually 3 comedians doing a set piece, its every 2nd month. You need to book tickets in advance.

Otherwise the pub on the corner at nana has a pretty good show most nights....big dogs I think it is called.

They used to do it at The Pickled Liver in Sukhumvit soi 11, not sure if they still do though. They have/had an open mic too, so if you think yer a funny fucker you can have a go.

Alternatively.....and for free.....just stand on any street corner and watch the Thais go about daily business.
