    Mountain Mafia ??

We just drove past a police blockade, they were busy putting those little numbered cards all around the truck and it was taped off.

Upon closer inspection, the passenger side window had a gun shot through it, the front windsreen had what first looked like shotgun pellet holes through the centre, but then looking closer looked like at least 7 or 9 small bullet holes, all congregating in a circle no larger than 3 inches diameter. The location was directly where the drivers head would be in line from standing outside.

On the ground at front and to the side I noticed shell casings, looking like .22 size.

I got a pic of the passenger window, shall post later, but could not get the front window as they waved us past to quick.

Wonder why ?? Road rage ? business ? political ?

The vehicle was a yellow delivery truck...so would say the driver was just a simple employee...not high finance related....maybe road rage.

love those old cars with the running boards.
used to have 3 or 4 parked outside my granddad's farm on a sunday afternoon when i was a boy
still remember the smell of leather inside.

looks like a mid fifties citroen traction avant.

as for the bloke in the picture, t-shirt tucked into shorts, thats also very mid-fifties.

I worked the carnival circuit in the NE US with my grandfather in the '70's. Bonnie and Clyde must have had a good-sized garage in which to keep all of their identical cars.
