This thread has been done by AA before (coupla times, I think).

DD censors posts that breaks no forum rules just because he doesn't like them.

What is the purpose?

Playing the big man?

Paying money each month to keep this site open (which obviously can not attract advertiser one) just to play the big man and delete posts in this little corner of the internet?

What does DD hope to accomplish with his censorship?

Of course, he can do it, after all it is his money and time he flushes down the toilet to have the right to censor and play the big man.

Ermm, actually DD posts some utter garbage at times.
DD only deleats post that may break Thai law.
Try calling him a Lady boy shagging tosser, he won't deleat it.
He may well abuse you back though.

There's a hell of a lot more censorship on other forums than this one. That's why I find TD refreshing cos most people seem to just say what they want without fear of being banned over the slightest thing.

That baffles me, too. I mean he can't actually think any of us read his posts, can he? AA is the only person I've ever put on ignore simply for being tedious & boring. I got fed up of having to scroll past his half-page repetitions & banalities.

Try to think this through . . .

One guy has made it his cause celebre to come to TD and slag off the owner as well as fairly well anyone connected to this forum. He then gets banned each time as his posts are as boring and tedious as it is possible for brainwaves to be.

The other guy loathes Thailand, Thais and those living in Thailand to such an extent that he puts everyone who lives in Thailand, from Sam the Samui beachbum to Wolfgang the head of Deutsche Bank, into the same category of Thaiophile . . . people who like Thailand.
He has lived in Thailand himself and clearly had a miserable and disappointing time and went home broke and broken . . . only to pop up as sure as the sun rises to tell everyone how miserable they are . . .

I'm thinking of psychoses . . .

I put Rural Surin on ignore once. Took him off when i couldn't read his blathering. When i could read his blathering, it made less sense than when i couldn't. Had endless hours of fun putting him on, then taking him off the ignore function.

DD isn't the only one who removes posts, right? There are several people who can do that.

I also wonder when someone posts something that should be deleted if others post quickly after if all the posts after that post are also collateral damage in that they get deleted to. I mean the system doesn't allow the mods to delete posts that are in between other posts. Can an individual post be deleted anywhere in the chain of posts or do all posts following the deleted post also get booted?

posts can be moderated individually ,
