Flash. How was the Ryder cup. On topic owing to wee wooosie being from Oswestry.

The Ryder cup was cold, wet, crowded and over priced. And by far the best sporting event I have ever been to, I have been to other golf compititions and you can follow your favorite player, at the k club you just got a spot to stand and thats where you were for the day, the pubs afterwards were great craic too as far as I can remember.

Its going to be in Wales in 2010 I suggest you make the trip home for it.

Did you have to follow the other holes through the scoreboard or were there plenty of tv screens around?
I've always considered the Ryder cup to be my favourite event and would love to see it live.

Just through the scoreboard, I would have prefered to walk around but the atmospere was so good nobody cared about the rain or being stuck in one spot, Its a little sickening watching shot after shot going where they are supposed to, I played 11 holes today full of confidence which withered away after the third.

Make sure you go see it when it is in Wales, you won't regret it.
