Aren't Isaan people ethnically Lao ?
Anyway I can hardly see Thailand fucked by Laos or Cambo for a very loong time ... those two countries are at least 30 years behind , and strangled by even more corrupted and inefficient governments.

this is fucking hilarious, great thread

this is what happened when you get married to peasants and live with their family

that said, you got to accept them, the fault is on your side, not theirs. You are obviously disrespectful to their line of thinking, no matter how superior you think you are !!!

If you're reduced to crying in the johns over 45 bahts, and ready to making a scene and spoilling the mood with your tee-rak who probably is ready to spread herself in two for you, you're the one DINOSAUR who hasn't got a clue nor a future.

    Bet you'll be extinct first...

This thread -- and all the others like it -- can be best described as: guy marries girl from uneducated, rural, background; guy is surprised when girl acts like she comes from uneducated, rural, background; guy gets angry and rants and vents at situation of his own making that he can't change; and for good measure decides that because he married girl from uneducated, rural, background then everyone else must have as well... Ironically illustrating his own lack of education.

    In A Fucking Nutshell!
And it has nothing really to do with 45 baht of oil, it is the principal!

It doesn't matter what it costs, it is the fact that they continually WASTE money, be it 45 baht or 45 million, they simply keep wasting money due to their stupidity, they will not listen, will not think, will not plan ahead.

The only thing these people think about is HERE and NOW! - tomorrow never comes for them, the concept of preparing for the future does not exist! It is like a rollercoaster to hell! and you cannot get off!

Yet another example - say for instance you are trying to save money - you thern go downstairs in the middle of the night, the radio is left on for the fucking cats, and at least 10 lights!

"Why have you left the lights on all night?" ...."For Good Luck"

for good luck? whose fucking good luck? The Electric companys'? it certainly doesn't feel like good luck coming my way!

Most of the world is trying to save energy, turning lights off at night, and these fucking idiots are burning it for "GOOD LUCK" - it's fucking "GOOD LUCK" that they are not paying the bill! CRETINS!

On the subject of Good Luck. A friend has a stepdaughter who was born with a dark pigmented facial birth Mark, besides the point, but she's a pretty girl with a lovely nature.
Friend wants to get the birthmark removed which can be done.
Was told by the Grand mother, cannot do as the birthmark is "Good luck".
How the hell can a large facial deformity be Good Luck?

for now the stupid one is you, I mean what you were thinking when you moved there ???

would you move in a trailer park with white trash in West Virginia ? you would probably hear the same story and be exposed to the same line of thinking

you are out of your league here, that's all

After five years together, my wife now is willing to say, "I made a mistake, it's my fault," when she messes up, without going into a crying jag, etc. The problem is, she seems to think the expression also means, "Problem solved." In the end, it's the laying of blame that seems to be the most important issue in disputes in Asia (not only in Thailand by any means), when rationally speaking that is not the important issue at all.

    Agreed.
If a worker drills a hole in a water pipe, he is happy to repair it as long as you accept the blame because you didn't tell him it was there.

45 baht is not a lot of principal; is it the interest rate that is the problem?

Oh, missismiggins, I feel your pain. And to those castigating you, it's a helluva lot better to vent your anger on these boards than to take it out on your wife (maybe you do both, I don't know).

Anyway, this is the funniest thread I have read in a long time. As Martha says to George, "I love your anger."

So, what's happening today, what's the latest?

^ could be lots of things

    a) miggins has took the family for a day out to restore balance

    b) miggins is in jail ( proper police associated type lock up)

    c) round 2 ensued last night and the missus got the better of him ( gone to hospital)

    d) doubtful but could be true, she said sorry for acting like a baby and its back to normal in the miggins household

afternoon mm, hope all is well

I'm completely lost as to what this rant is about.
OP, please take a Bex and have a good lie down.
