That picture of Jacko was after he had his eye bags removed as CGS at tax payers expense
They look like characters from A Clockwork Orange.

Or just to show off their boots?
I'm gonna call BS on your famine theory - it looks like the tailors got length and width a bit mixed up, there's heaps of cloth in them strides.
The boot thing is probably correct - so you can see all 16 eyes on the DMs as your getting your head kicked!
(wide boy pants for wide boys n gals?)
Ok, no potato famine humour.

Came home fro work and my neighbour calls me over . . . he just returned from a fishing trip and caught a 130kg beast
I reckon the Marlin must be more than 130kg as my neighbour is quite a big guy and tips the scales at over 100 himself.
He cuts the thing up and freezes some and gives away quite a bit ... These are times it's good to be pescatarian
We particularly enjoy his lobster/crayfish and scallops 'hunts'
He is part owner of a good sized company and can take time when he wishes ... Hard working country boy done good.
Can't wait for my marlin steak
Great to get background on his economic status.
Your envy showing through again?
I was just telling my mate this afternoon that's got a Ferrari that I haven't had a decent fish supper for a while.
