I'll put this here where people will actually see it, what the hell is this (besides being fried, obviously).

^ A squirrel of some sort?

We get a lot round here running along the power lines but they're not very big. How long to you think it was?

^Yeah we have plenty of Squirrels here running along power lines too but this thing is like 3 or 5 times as big. Snout to arse would have been about 20 inches.

There is a few different varieties of squirrels in Thailand. Some of them can get fairly big.

What a lot of people are calling squirrels in Thailand are actually Northern Tree Shews.

Live and learn something new every day then thank you! The body matches pics online of Treeshrew's so thats what it'll be, but as I've just learned there's many different varieties and I can't figure out which one this BBQ'd guy is because it has a much more rounded snout than what I'm seeing online. No matter, it's a Treeshrew.

The Tree Shrew's is more pointed and delicate.

Stunningly beauty day here on the island of Koh Mak. Took a scooter ride. Flew my drone. Nobody here but a few groups of Thais and a handful of Backpacker types staying around the island.

    Quite peaceful.

    ^Enjoy your stay.

Are you staying in the Mira Montra, The Beachfront Resort Koh Mak?
If not, pay it a visit. The beach, which has white "powder" sand, is the best on the island and usually deserted.

How was the speedboat ride ride from Leam Ngop pier?
