Is that still at Sunway Lagoon? I went to Sunway Pyramid Mall after work yesterday - - - like ships in the night
^ yep. You can get a yearly passport for cheaper than what you'd pay to get into Ramayana in Pattaya twice.
229 myr
Keeps the littleun happy
It is a little like walking into the River Ganges though
Orange fruit with lantern.
Hey, leave me out of this.
^^Christ that must be HELL.
Day 2 of the RBSC Football 7s today.
With a changover.
Went to Korat Zoo today... and continued my conversion to long green beans.
To be honest even I can appreciate this would have been difficult with peas!
As an aside... when it's hot I usually where my 'special forces boonie hat' to the zoo, but as we were leaving this morning my wife said I shouldn't wear it. She was concerned that after the trouble in Korat last night I shouldn't look like the army... I swear, I could live here another 50 years and I'll still never understand the way a Thai thinks!
my daughter receiving the award for the recruit of the intake - at Cerberus, Royal Aust Navy Vic Aus
The lady presenting is Mrs Shipp - who is the widow of the RAN guy who died a hero in Vietnam in 68 - my daughter is in the Division named after him. The guy with the medals holding the award is the Chief of the Australian Navy (ie #1 navy dude in Oz).
My step daughter came to OZ when she was ten years and couldnae speak english. She is an Issan picaninny raised on mamma noodles and somtum until she came here. She now wants to change her surname to mine - and she can if she promises never to forgets her thai roots.
I'm so proud it brings tears to my old eyes!!
Cherish ya kids!
^^ Jeez Simon, you really took the literal meaning of 'anything anywhere' there.
Thanks for that start to the day, ya fkin weirdo.
Solved in record time.
Though I superglued her hands together for pinching money from the change bowl.
^
I bought my son almost exactly the same all broken but "buried" in a giant lump of clay.
He is now an archaeologist. He could have had money but....
^^ nice work. Can’t tell anything happened.
Out on the river this evening.
^^ ...
Cheers Mike. ^ Damn that looks nice.
I wondered what all the noise was about...
Cats . . . 'orrible things
It looks like the cat has stolen all the mangoes. Not one to be seen. No wonder the dogs are angry.
^ After a promising start this year, most of the mango blossom just dried up and fell off. We have just two trees (out of ten) with a decent crop developing.
The daughter greets the dogs this morning... the commandant must be lurking as not one foot over the threshold will they put!
If the wife was out they would have barged through the door and jumped up on the sofa with me!
But Yogi especially is a bit nervous this morning... after disgracing himself yesterday!
The wife went mental!
A short drive (or long-ish walk) to the TTDI (Taman Tun Doctor Ismael) Park - a well-kept, large park with hiking tracks and the like . . . every week-end I trot down there (2.5km), do one to two hours worth of sweating and then walk down to the shopping/business area for lunch . . .
It's been raining quite a bit in the evenings here in KL recently - hence the lake's colour
