I hope it didn't head east. Fish's crib be underwater.

I sold my 68 to a friend for 350 usd. Almost like giving it away but hell I only paid 150 for it so more than doubled my money.
I found this with some old batteries and carb rebuild stuff.

It's a 68 so I'm sure they had. I can't remember the last time but I think I went down the rabbit's hole then and read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.

I must admit to being a bit baffled by your post . . . but hey, motorcycles are worthy of a photo a week!

I'm baffled but still crippled by the girl. Maybe I should have kept the bike and ditched the rest.

The Somchais around here must be the laziest bastards on the planet. They bury the water pipe 100mm below the surface knowing full well the first vehicle over it will break it. The pipe gets broken and they repair it. Leaving the pipe bent upwards level with the surrounding soil. Retards.
Yeah I know my camera date is wrong.

Final chuck before leaving Blighty was pretty cold on the beach at 5 am also had a close encounter of the third kind .
It was a long slow burn very bright must have been pretty large was so surprised i stood watching open mouthed instead of filming the shooting star? ,but i think it was space junk coming down,
Certainly the biggest brightest object ive seen fall through the atmosphere.
On the dangling side bit slow caught a small pout 10 mackerel ,could have caught a 100 but just a few needed for food ,was happy with the other fish landed though.

Seems it was a meteor that made its way along the Channel to Devon and Wales ...

    https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-devon-49626084

Large search after meteor mistaken for plane

A land and air search was launched in Devon after a suspected meteor was feared to be an aircraft breaking up in the sky.

Numerous callers alerted police to the flying object during the early hours of Sunday. It was later seen breaking apart and falling towards the ground.

Two police helicopters and a coastguard helicopter from Newquay were scrambled amid fears a plane could be in trouble.

Police said it had since received multiple reports of meteor sightings.

UK Meteor Network - a network of astronomers with meteor detection cameras - said by 09:00 it had received 68 reports of a fireball meteor at about 05:45 BST.

Devon and Cornwall Police said it began receiving calls at 06:25 BST from worried residents in Yelverton, Princetown and Clearbrook.

It said there had been no record of a plane in the area but launched a search as it was unable to rule it out.

The force said it had since received reports of people seeing a meteor from as far away as Dorset and Cardiff.

UK Meteor Network said it was believed to have travelled in a southwesterly direction over the English Channel.

Throughout Sunday, scores of people took to social media to report their own sightings, including astronomers in France.

I guess it was the same one but it came from Nearly due North and out over near Rampion wind farm.It reminded me of the footage from the Columbia accident that's why i thought it was man made.
Wouldn't think there is much point looking anywhere in Devon my best guess would be near to Le Havre certainly went in that direction.

Picked up a few weeks work onshore in Norway and I haven't really been aware of this before, the EV revolution has pretty much passed me by. Drive to work and plug in your car to charge for free while you're in the office.

Norway has the largest electric car ownership per capita in the world (now almost 50% of market share) and no wonder with incentives like this.

So what's the incidence of forgetting to unplug before driving away I wonder.
It would be higher than forgetting to remove a bowser spout I'd imagine.

I'd presume there's some kind of kill switch that means you can't drive with it connected or woteva.

The Norwegian government has also made electric cars VAT exempt, giving buyers 25% off the price. Plus some free parking and being able to drive in the bus lane.
