We have been with my Mum and Dad today did some hunting around on the internet for old pictures of Seaford.Found plenty of old faces for them to reminisce over so they had a good time remembering people, pictures and events from their past.
Think the one below was my favorite,On 21st May 1936 the German Airship "Graf-Zeppelin" flew low over Seaford Bay whilst en-route to Friedrichhaven.
Fascists dress in black and go around telling people what to do, whereas priests... more drink!
WOW! good find KT, My Mum took me to the top of the house and showed it to me through the window, the truth, no wind up, we lived 100 yards from the sea front in Worthing.
During the week; while most are out working, some of the neighborhood dogs come and stay with me. One of the larger pups will occasionally drink from the wet planter/s out front.
Needless to say he wasn’t happy when he noticed someone else sharing his drinking cup.

A ME109 was shot down, making a forced landing in a field near East Dean, Sussex 30 September 1940.This happened about 3 miles from Seaford,he remembered the day it happened the plane is now at Duxford.

Absolutely. The weather was lovely, it was not crowded. We wake boarded, paddled, rowed and swam around while sleeping on a houseboat.
