The "English" adopted the metric system of measurement - Length = metre, back in the 70's. It's for the old farts who never were able to change, they still use threepenny bits up north.Originally Posted by nigelandjan

Get a night vision lens Bang Yai and get back to us next week.
I bet those tree's are strewn with faded pages of Razzle and Mayfair too.
Never really took to whacking off in bushes myself. Still though, takes all sorts.
Got a load more I took but didn't think they would be of much interest. My sister does a childrens creche / activity group there every now and then, hence the trip. From there I walked into Tring and back as I used to live there as a kid.
As for the other comments, yep, I suppose it would make a pretty good place for dogging what with all the twitchers hides about. However , a bit frowned on apparently :

A layout model of the Villa, cottage style which I had commissioned to build. An Aussie pool (with seawater) is now currently prepared and located just behind facing West towards the mountain ridge.

Albi. South of France. 1 hour NE of Toulouse. Beautiful town, big gothic cathedral on the hill there is the main attraction, lots of very old buildings and narrow streets, and castles in the surrounding hills. I'll do a photo thread when I get the time and some sunny weather.
